 ~Required by the state of Michigan for all Juniors, given in March.

Description of the ACT

The ACT (No Writing) consists of four multiple-choice tests: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science.

The ACT Plus Writing includes the four multiple-choice tests and a Writing Test .

English                 75 questions             45 minutes
Mathematics        60 questions             60 minutes
Reading               40 questions             35 minutes
Science               40 questions             35 minutes
Writing                 1 prompt                   30 minutes  (The Writing Test is optional when taken on a National Test date,
but is required by the State of Michigan when the test is given in March to Juniors)
